Holiday cottages and self-catering accommodation in Wrentham

The village of Wrentham is a great base for a self-catering cottage holiday. The sandy beaches at Kessingland and Southwold are within a 5-mile drive, and the stunning waterways of the Norfolk Broads are within easy reach from Beccles or Oulton Broad. A blend of old and new is apparent in Wrentham, with historic buildings including thatched cottages, St. Nicholas Church and the unique Wrentham Chapel. The fact that the village has won the ‘Best Kept Village’ accolade numerous times is a testament to its attractiveness, making it a very pleasant place to stay when you’re looking for holiday homes in Suffolk.

When it comes to self-catering in Wrentham, the village has everything you could possibly need right on the doorstep: two good pubs serving Adnams ale (the local brew), an excellent local cafe, a village shop, playing fields, a tennis club and bowling green. Walking breaks in Wrentham are popular too; there is excellent walking around the village — follow the footpaths through pretty lanes down to the sea at Benacre and Covehithe, and breathe in that sea air, before returning to one of our Wrentham holiday homes for a restful evening planning the next day’s adventures. Our Wrentham accommodation includes dog-friendly options, so your dog can join you in exploring the surrounding scenery on foot.
