Take a trip to Suffolk and stay in this charming holiday home. Suitable for a mixed group of friends or a family and grandparents, this place can be whatever you want. It’s in the charming village of Wrentham, close to the sea so you can have days on the beach, coastal walks or try out water sports.
As you enter the property you’ll find an open-plan kitchen/diner, completed by a lounge area so everyone can socialise. You’ll notice French doors near the table, so you can eat and enjoy a beautiful view of the gardens. Next door is the sitting room, a cosy spot with a wood burner and a bay window so you can have natural light or firelight as you prefer. Head to the first floor to find a double bedroom and a twin room, plus a bathroom with a deep bath. Continue on to the second floor for the final bedroom, another double. All of the bedrooms have been beautifully decorated and made very comfortable. The property has a driveway out front, and to the rear is a stretching lawn, enclosed by a wooden fence. There’s a patio covered by a roof, featuring a seating area so you can take drinks out in the sunshine. At the end of the garden, you’ll see a summer house. This is a lovely den, perfect for a little relaxing time or drinks after the kids are in bed. It’s equipped with a TV, sofas and a bar.
Family days out can be enjoyed at Southwold Maize Maze (4.5 miles), a great place with lots of activities. Carry on to Southwold (5 miles) and visit the pier for more fun, plus food and incredible views. If you prefer the quiet, visit Benacre National Nature Reserve (1 mile) or Covehithe Beach (1.5 miles).
