This cosy bungalow is perfectly placed for enjoying Reydon and Southwold just 1 mile from the stunning Suffolk coast. It has a pretty garden to relax in on sunny days, is just metres from a hotel bar and restaurant, and is in the ideal spot for exploring the area on foot or by bike – with bikes, locks and helmets provided.
The cottage is lovely and bright throughout, there’s plenty of space for two and lots of thought has gone into guests’ comfort. The open-plan living space is perfect for chilling on the sofas, on warm days open the French doors to the front garden next to the dining area. You’ll find everything you need in the well-appointed kitchen and there are French doors out to the rear garden. The attractive double bedroom has lots of light, and lovely rustic furniture for your holiday garb, and there’s a bathroom with a bath over the shower. Take your pick of sitting on the bench in the pretty garden at the front or on the patio at the rear for drinks and dinner al fresco. The cottage has private parking on the driveway and bike storage too.
Ditch the car and head to Southwold (1 mile away) for the day on foot, by bike (there’s no need to bring your own!) or by bus. The town has two wonderful beaches to choose from, a popular pier, and colourful beach huts. You can catch a foot ferry from the harbour across the river to Walberswick during the summer months, the self-appointed home of crabbing! Book a fishing trip, go out sailing or paddleboarding during your stay and be sure to call in for a drink and tasty meal at the hotel (about 100 metres) on your way home.
