Our Saxmundham holiday cottages are an ideal base from which to discover many of the beautiful towns and villages that fall within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

Located on the River Fromus close to the Suffolk coast, Saxmundham is a traditional Suffolk market town with a good selection of independent retailers, businesses and specialist shops servicing the centre of town. Saxmundham is also well serviced by two larger supermarkets, and a weekly market is held every Wednesday, making it a great location for holidays in Suffolk.

There are many attractions located just a short drive away from our Saxmundham cottages including RSPB Minsmere and Snape Maltings, which comprises of a world-class concert hall, an antique shop, home and garden store, gastropub, cafe and gift shop. Both RSPB Minsmere and Snape Maltings are located approximately 7 miles away from our Saxmundham holiday lets. You’ll also find the traditional village of Yoxford less than 2 miles away from our Saxmundham holiday homes, and Framlingham Castle around 8 miles away.
