Set within one of Suffolk’s most idyllic villages, Walsham le Willows, Gabriel’s Place is a pretty, little cottage at its heart. Tucked away from the main road, this petite countryside bolthole is the ideal romantic retreat for two. The village itself is surrounded by long stretches of open fields with wildlife in abundance and with many lovely long walks directly from your doorstep, this truly is the escape to the country you have been looking for. There are also two great pubs in the village and a lovely café.

Gabriel’s Place is full of charm and character with its exposed timber frame inside, wonderful wooden floorboards and glorious inglenook fireplace now fitted with roaring log burner, making this an excellent choice for year-round holidays. In addition to this wealth of features, Gabriel’s Place plays host to a generous and welcoming kingsize bedroom, with ensuite bathroom. In addition, there is a large landing with a single bed and pull-out trundle bed and a well-equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs. This idyllic escape awaits to help rest and recharge those batteries in the heart of the wonderful Suffolk countryside.

If this wasn’t already enough, the location is perfect for exploring some of Suffolk’s most beautiful places. Just a 10-minute drive, is Wyken Vineyards which has a divine country store, vineyard, and delicious restaurant to enjoy. Bury St Edmunds is only half an hour’s drive and is full of wonderful architecture, rich history and beautiful Cathedral and Abbey Gardens. There are also some of Suffolk’s finest eateries including award winning Peas Porridge, Maison Bleue and 1921.
