The property was warm and comfortable on the whole. The large bed was very comfortable but the sofa in the lounge was not so comfortable. The log burner worked very well and most welcome on damp days. The kitchen lacked workspace and a freezer as in the description. The welcome pack was good. A small carton of fresh milk to make a cup of tea oRead moren arrival would have been appreciated. Hide

We had a lovely week staying at Rose Barn Cottage. It is well located in order to visit the Suffolk coast. It is very close to RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath and about equidistant between Southwold and Aldeburgh. The village has a pub within walking distance and there are small shops close by, Budgens on the A12 or the local shop in nearby WestletRead moreon or Yoxford. There is a Two Magpies bakery in Darsham (10 mins drive). The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed. The location is rural and is very quiet, as it is on the edge of the village. Parking is just outside the cottage and there is an area to sit round the back. We had bikes and were able to leave those in one of the sheds belonging to the farm. We appreciated the bag of goodies on arrival which included milk, crisps, jam, various sauces, tea and sugar. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend staying here. Hide

Our second stay at Rose Cottage and we loved it just as much as our first. Spotlessly clean, very comfy and a lovely log burner to come back to on chilly evenings. Very well equipped, high quality and very spacious - highly recommend for exploring the Suffolk Coast!
