Only six miles to the coast and eight miles to the RSPB Bird Reserve at Minsmere, Kelsale is a very quiet location which is ideal for people looking for a peaceful holiday. Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh are all within easy reach. The Poachers Pocket pub is around half a mile away and there are excellent cycling and walking paths available. Kelsale is only a mile from the historic market town of Saxmundham which has many shops, including Waitrose, as well as a train station with direct access to both Ipswich and London.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stables. It is very clean, very comfortable, and its proximity to the A12 makes it an excellent base from which to visit other places in Suffolk. We could not have chosen better.
