The original features of the property have been restored to their former glory, including wooden beams and an open fireplace. Snuggle up on one of the squishy sofas and relax in front of a roaring fire on those cooler evenings. With a large south facing garden enjoy the sunshine with a morning coffee and later, early evening gin & tonics followed by a BBQ surrounded with family and friends. Wangford village is ideally placed approximately three miles away from Southwold and close to many other attractions on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The village itself is on the very edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty giving you easy access to this stunning area. Within the village there is a good local shop, a farm shop and the popular Angel Inn. If you want to experience a Southwold holiday, but would rather be just on its outskirts, then one of our Wangford cottages is perfect. Wangford is a great base for exploring Westleton, Dunwich, Snape and Aldeburgh.
