Walberswick is very popular with walkers, cyclists and families and is known for its annual crabbing competitions. The village has two pubs – The Anchor and The Bell Inn – the latter which inspired the creation of Adnams’ Ghost Ship Ale, a tearoom, art gallery and gift shop. Lane End was a delightful property in which to holiday. It would suit a small family or two couples sharing because of the privacy between the bedrooms en suites. The living room is very ambient and beautifully equipped. We particularly liked having two sofas and a window seat to watch the comings and goings in the busy, but the quaint village of Walberswick. It is two minutes to the sea and marshes and we loved watching the harriers morning and evening - Lane End is also a minute from The Anchor - what’s not to love?

Mr C,

Superb location near beach, ferry, shops and pubs. Very clean and well equipped.. Bed upstairs is very low and could be problematic for an elderly guest (ME) .

Mr P,

Lane End is a lovely house in a very central position. The first floor sitting room is great with a nice window seat and it was great to have a little garden.
