Think coastal charm, water views and the beach nearby… Harbour Cottage ticks all the boxes for a self catering holiday in Southwold!
Harbour Cottage is beautiful! Relax in front of the wood burning stove on the cooler evenings and dine alfresco in the front garden overlooking the water on sunny summer days. This is a property for all seasons. The four cottage style bedrooms are delightful with pretty bedding and curtains… we love the room at the top with its white boarded ceiling and arched window. The sitting room has a couple of comfortable sofas and a dining table with seating. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washer dryer and a kitchen table with pew style seating.
Harbour Cottage is in a great location with views across to Walberswick and Southwold is about a 15 minute walk away. Southwold is a traditional coastal town famous for its pier, lighthouse, pastel coloured beach huts and fabulously fresh seafood! The town has some excellent independent shops, cafes and restaurants, be sure to call in for a pint of the acclaimed Adnams beer in one of the popular pubs.
This is the perfect bolthole for families and friends looking for a seaside holiday in Suffolk. The views are wonderful and the seafront easily accessible… a unique coastal bolthole!

Feels like a home - bit quirky and well appointed. Amazing location.
Utterly charming, cosy cottage in a splendid harbour-front position.
A late autumn visit to Southwold and this cottage was warm and cosy. Spent time walking everywhere exploring and hardly used the car ! Sure we will be back soon
Harbour cottage was sweet and quirky in a good location.
Something magical about Southwold. Needed a lot more time to explore - even though there's nothing there! (Well, no Hanging Gardens of Babylon or herds of Wildebeest sweeping across the plain ...). Actually, everything is there, but on an unshowy, unpretentious small scale. The harbour (where we stayed) is strangely, scruffily, romantic; the cottage had all you'd want for accommodation & facilities - loads of books & games as well - & had a sort of low key quirky charm. It has secrets, Southwold. I love it.
What a lovely place... great walks nearby, a wonderful pub next door with really good fish on the menu, a warm fireplace to sit round, very comfortable beds, everything you could need for a special stay... we will be going back!... many thanks
