Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coast and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the important area. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. This gorgeous property is beautifully situated next to the sand dunes and sea with great views from all windows. The furnishings are comfortable, the decor is stylish and it is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and the close proximity to walks into Walberswick, the marshes and to Blythborough, as well as easy access to the centre of Southwold. A great holiday, thank you!

Mr F,

The location is superb: between the town and the harbour with a dog-friendly beach across the road! The contrasting views from front and back, over the sea (visible from front bedroom) and the marshes are both wonderful. The house has a useful small garden and a nice small sunny extension at the back where the dining table is to be found.

Mr J,

The location of the Cabin is superb. We enjoyed walking over the dunes onto the beach every day and amazing sunsets over the marshes towards the harbour and Walberswick at the back of the property every evening. The sitting room furniture is as comfortable as it is stylish.
