A gorgeous holiday home just a short distance away from the sea, Lavender House is a wonderful bolthole for families or friends looking to explore the area in and around Southwold. Beautifully furnished to provide all that you could need, Lavender House has a whitewash interior with furniture in soothing coastal hues, all carefully hand-selected to ensure that you and yours are as comfortable as can be. Complete with 4 lovely bedrooms, Lavender House suits all ages. With plenty of built in storage in the double bedrooms, whether you stay for three nights or three weeks, this really will feel like a home-from-home. Subtle sea views can be seen from some of the bedrooms, but we recommend going to see it for yourself! The stretching Southwold promenade is home not only to its famous pier, but also a delightful array of pastel painted beach huts come summer. Hours of fun will be spent finding the most ingeniously named amongst them.

Notes: Wifi, bed linen and towels provided. There is a pond in the garden that has slats over, but children should not be left unsupervised around it. There are sloping ceilings in Bedroom 4.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
