Reydon, just a mile from Southwold, is divided only by Buss Creek. It’s here that the traditional fishing boats or ‘busses’ used to tie up, following one of the footpaths along the creek and head to the beach for a day on the sands. Reydon itself has a couple of village shops and the Randolph Hotel which has an excellent restaurant and good locals' bar. Alternatively, head into Southwold, a traditional coastal town on the Suffolk coast, famous for its iconic pier, lighthouse and pretty beach huts.

Another wonderful stay at the Sky View. Thank you for the ‘Welcome Pack’ much appreciated. The dogs enjoyed their chews too. We have already booked for next year! Thanks again! Ps. We left some ice cream in the freezer for you.

Past Customer,

Thanks for providing such a wonderful base for our Suffolk sejourn. Brought my 91 year old mum back to her roots to share memories of Southwold before the 2nd world war with us and her grand children, who visited us at the weekends from London. We now live in Scotland so the welcome pack and many homely touches were very welcome - especially the first night. Our dogs loved the beach at Walberswick and Dunwich and all the walks over the heaths, Beccles marshes and coast path, as did we. A fine meal at The Crown at Westleton finished our stay off nicely! We hope to make it back this way again next year. The peace and calm of the bungalow has worked its magic on us all. Wonderful ambience and decor! Someone with a real eye for design has prepared this beautiful place. We loved it.

Previous Customer,

We've had a wonderful holiday in your lovely house. The welcome pack is the best we've ever had and the fresh flowers an extra special touch too. The house is great, a real home from home and I loved all of the art work and the photographs too. We were really lucky with the weather and walked to Southwold most days. Dunwich Heath was great too along with Snape Maltings (if you like a walk and some shopping and Aldeburgh) Africa Alive is always a good day out too. Many thanks! Jenny and Daniel.

Mrs Jenny H,

We have had the most amazing stay! Thank you so much for making my little boy's first birthday so special. The cake and balloon were so lovely. We wasn't lucky with the weather but your beautiful bungalow had everything we could possibly need to make our holiday. I have promised George we will be coming baack to Sky View again as he didn't want to leave.

The Adams Family,

Thank you so much for a lovely week in your beautiful bungalow. Everything so well thought out, clean and high quality decor! We has a surprisingly sunny and dry week. Dunwich Heath NT has some lovely walks, as does The Old Hall, just 5 mins away. Both have nice dog friendly cafes. Framlington Castle is worth a visit. We walked to Southwold and went ont he pier! Lovely beaches and shops. We hope to return - Thank you.

We had a surprising sunny +dry week - Dunwich Heath NT has lovely walks, as does the Old Hall just 5 mins away - both also nice dog friendly cafes. Framlingham castle is worth a visit. Past Customer,

Thank you so much for a lovely weeks stay in your amazing bungalow. It's for everything you could possibly want and more! The welcome pack and extras (doggy treats) were appreciated - such a lovely touch (Bonnie loved the doggy blanket to snuggle on). We have all had an amazing, relaxing stay - so peaceful and the weather has been great too - wasn't expecting to be able to enjoy sitting in the lovely garden, but we did. Our first holiday forever for over a year and it's been truly fantastic. Great walks to Southwold, Reydon Wood and to Old Hall Farm along Blyth River. Bonnie loves the beach and dunes, she's a worn out but happy dog. Gun Hill Cafe serves great bacon/sausage rolls and the fish n chips from the Little Fish n Chip Shop are delicious. Look forward to coming back soon. Thanks again for everything - will definitely be coming back - such a great location - love it here - don't want to leave! Thanks again, The Weebers xx

Previous Customer,

Another wonderful week in this fantastic bungalow. We've so enjoyed being back here for a 2nd time. Highlights this week include a beautiful walk along the estuary at Snape Maltings all the way to Iken Church. We hided a beach hut 'Plaice & Ships' again and a seal came bobbing past in the sea, to much excitement on the shore at Southwold! A stunning walk from Southwold harbour to Walberswick via the Bailey Bridge, followed by a fantastic pub lunch at The Anchor - our favourite. We are sad to be leaving but will be back again - This bungalow is really welcoming and lovely to back to everytime! 5 stars

Mr Andrew P,

Skyview is an exceptional property, it’s even better than the website suggests. We will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend it.

Mrs H,

Possibly the most stylish holiday home we have stayed in - we loved the decor and the pen drawing by Simon caught our eye, a real talent. We loved the location and found time to relax in the garden. The welcome pack and extra treats were very much appreciated. Days out included Bressingham Steam & Gardens, Ordford ness (a real gem of a nature reserve) & Sutton Hoo - very interesting. Despite mixed reviews, we ate at The Randolph and had an excellent meal with the added bonus of being able to walk to the pub! The two local shops are well stocked & convenient. We are already planning a return visit when we retire - roll on 2023!

Mrs Debbie P,

We found this property clean and bright and had a comfortable feeling. Would recommend this property.

Mr T,

We have had a fabulous week! The bungalow is so clean and the welcome pack was much appreciated! Great times on the river Waveney in Beccles, first in a day boat and then on the SUPs. Plenty of walking into Southwold to spend time in the beach hut we hired. All in all a great week! Thanks.

The Hemmings family,

We've had a great time at Skyview. Such a lovely spacious house which is so well equipped. We have had lots of days at the beach and have eaten really well. We have particularly enjoyed the Southwold Maize Maze - great for children and children at heart, and the fantastic Beccles lido. Thank you for your hospitality.

Howarth family,

We had a fabulous week at Skyview. Beautifully furnished with lovely extra touches. The garden is a gorgeous haven. Opposite a park for nice easy strolls with our spaniel. We spent the week exploring Southwold and the local nature reserve, on the beach with our dog and and enjoying some of the local cafes and dog friendly pubs, which there are plenty to choose from. We had no complaints at all. Two of us went to Africa Alive one day (recommended) and to The Unruly Pig in Woodbridge for Sunday Lunch which was a real treat - the only times we went further afield. We will be back.

Mrs J,

So lucky to have found this lovey property & had fabulous weather. We haven’t needed to do more than walk into Southwold each day – the beach is perfect & relatively quiet. Pick up a hot drink & pastry from the Two Magpie’s & find a bench to have breakfast. More walking on the beach & sitting in your very well-kept garden. We came for fresh air, peace & quiet & got that in a very high standard property – thank you! Andrew & Joanne, Oxfordshire And fresh flowers in the bungalow were a lovely touch. You take such care, thank you.

Mr Andrew B,

Sky View is amazing! We have found a place for future holidays for years to come. Not only is it immaculate and spacious, the garden is a gorgeous sun trap and perfect for lazing in after a long day at the beach. The dogs especially liked the dog-friendly garden with lots of cool places to lie. We have already booked for next year and highly recommend to anyone with a family and pets. There’s even a bus two minutes around the corner that takes you into Southwold should you have young children or just not fancy the walk. We can’t wait to visit again! 5*plus!
