Reydon is the neighbouring village to the seaside town of Southwold – the two are divided by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of the past used to tie up. Reydon is a charming village which has expanded over the years and has become very popular with holidaymakers and second home-owners due to its proximity to Southwold. There is a foothpath leading from the Lowestoft Road directly to the seafront which only takes ten minutes to walk. Reydon has the added advantage of two village shops, a health centre (recently re-located from Southwold), a village hall and The Randolph Hotel which is popular with the village locals. Reydon offers lots of great walks, cycle routes and in spring time Reydon Woods Nature Reserve is a must-see with its gorgeous spread of bluebells. The village also offers good links to the village of Blythburgh and Kessingland.

Reviews

Fantastic second stay at Loxwood. Just as perfect as the first time. Love the new woven willow fencing! Thank you for the wonderful welcome pack. Looking forward to our next visit in August 2022.

Mrs M,

A lovely holiday property. Very tastefully furnished, modern, very well equipped. Child friendly with nice garden. Quiet location with easy 20 minute walk into Southwold. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this property.

Mrs H,

We loved staying at this property and very much felt at home. Fantastic layout, beautiful homely accessories such as pictures and cushions and lovely additional touches such as the throws. Really didn’t want to return home.

Mrs M,

Lovely clean and modern house. Nice closed garden good for kids. Walking distance from Southwold but not as busy

Ms J,

Wow, what a lovely house, where the attentive owners have thought of everything! The house has been accessorised beautifully. It's situated in a quiet area, which is very accessible for walking into Southwold. Great to see Staffordshire pottery too! Loxwood has a great, dog friendly garden. The Randolph Hotel is definitely worth a visit - Henry the beagle received a warm welcome! We throughly enjoyed our time at Loxwood, and hope to return again soon.

Mrs M,

Lovely property, modern and very well kept. A really sociable property and fabulous to have the bi-folding doors into the good sized garden. Beds very comfy! Enjoyed my early morning walks to Southwold beach each day during our stay, just far enough!

Mrs E,
