Perfect for large groups and families, this stylish, four-bedroom bungalow offers contemporary comforts and a great coastal retreat. When you’ve not got your toes buried in the sand, 1.5 miles away, you can be dining alfresco in the large garden or curled up with a good book in the glow of the wood burner inside the vast open-plan living area.

The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is the perfect space to entertain family and friends, whether gathered beside the wood burner on one of the sofas, rustling up some home-cooked treats in the kitchen space, or dining at the table beside the huge bi-fold doors. When sleep calls, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor – a bunk and a twin – which are great for kids, and there is also a family bathroom. Upstairs, there is a double room and a king-size room, both with wardrobes for storage, plus a family shower room. Outside the bi-fold doors, a wide garden offers a patio area and seating, plus a grassy area for the kids to play.

Step outside your door to find some of the best local walking routes, including Reydon Woods Nature Reserve, a blanket of bluebells in the spring. Within a half-mile stroll, you'll reach Southwold seafront, where the spectacular Suffolk Heritage Coast along with beach huts, a pier and a lighthouse await. At Southwold, you can spend the day building sandcastles on the beach, savour local seafood in one of the restaurants, or visit the unique cinema.

Lovely comfortable house. Very well equipped. Our grandchildren loved playing in the garden. Reydon is a great location for an August holiday with easy access to Southwold without crowds that such a popular place attracts.

Lovely house with plenty of room for our group of nine which included two babies. Well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to take the footpath running alongside the marshes to get to Southwold. A nice quiet location.

A delightful cottage, cosy, warm and bright. Lovely secure garden. Fantastic location, only a short walk into Southwold and the beach. Great variety of walking straight from the door. Definitely ticks a lot of boxes for a relaxing break.

Cottage was clean and comfortable no problems with it. If your arriving in the dark the charge works have been better being lit up to show the name, but instructions did say where it was located.

The house was lovely, it was warm and very clean in a quiet road. The garden was great for our two dogs as it was fully enclosed. The location was great, the shop was a 10 minute walk and the pub was 5 minutes! Southwold was lovely to visit and so was Aldeburgh a 25 minute drive. It was our first visit to the area and didnt disappoint

Great house in good location only a short walk into Southwold. Handy to have 2 shops within walking distance. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. If staying with younger children be aware that the twin room and bunk room are downstairs and some might not be comfortable with younger ones sleeping downstairs while parents upstairs. This is a fantastic property in a brilliant location. We easily parked 3 quite large cars on the drive. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in with the dogs - the garden is completely secure, the bedrooms and stairs can be closed off as can the front door, and the provision of dog bowls was a nice added touch. The open plan kitchen, dining andRead more lounge area was plenty large enough for a big family group and we were lucky enough to have weather which allowed us to fully open the bifold doors. It is a real home from home in terms of equipment - everything has been thought about. Hide
