Reviews

A spacious and quirky property. Easy walking distance into Southwold.

Mrs P,

Lovely modern property with a good garden. Barbecue provided. Plenty of parking available.

Mrs B,

Surprisingly big property. Quiet. Was always a welcome breeze and the house was cool even in last weeks heatwave. Enjoyed the garden and ate a lot of breakfasts and lunches on sunny patio. The location was great for walking. Walked into Southwold on the footpaths to the seafront, along past the the beach huts and collected breakfast from Magpie Bakery in the town most days. Fish and chips from the harbour restaurants, sitting outside and people watching is a must and then walk back on the marsh footpaths. Quiet beaches can be found if you go left when you reach the seafront past the end of the harbour wall and over the last groyne - take a picnic as there are no shops or cafes that way.

Mrs M,

Summer House is a really well appointed home from home and is ideally located as a base for a holiday in the Southwold area. The kitchen is particularly well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit and the Suffolk Secrets staff member (Toby) was particularly helpful when we managed to lock ourselves out after the office was closed. Recommended.

Mr T,

We loved The Summer House. It was roomy and very comfortable with an enclosed garden and plenty of parking space. The local shop is only a stones throw away and has everything you need and friendly staff. Southwold is within walking distance and has a lovely sandy beach. Everyone enjoyed their stay from the 8 year old up to the grandparents.

Dr B,

This is a very good holiday cottage in a quiet location. All of the living and bedrooms are spacious although the kitchen is a little small, which is not a major problem if you are mostly dining out. The garden is quite large. The property is clean and well maintained inside and out. There are 2 small but good local shops, the closest only 2 minutes walk away. Southwold sea front is about 25 minutes away on foot, and if you drive there most of the parking is free. It has a very long, sandy beach.

Mr C,

Only a 20-25 minute walk to the lighthouse area of the seafront - if you don't mind walking into Southwold, this is a great house with lots of space and perfect for relaxing! We really enjoyed our stay.

Dr B,
