This wooden lodge with a hot tub and sauna is perfect for a romantic getaway in the North Suffolk countryside. During your stay, enjoy long sunset strolls along the beaches of the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape. Visit the nearby historic attractions and dine out in the quaint nearby towns.
As you enter the wooden lodge, you’ll immediately notice how bright and airy it is inside the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Beneath the wooden ceiling, neutral-toned decor fills the space while natural light pours through two sets of French doors. Ideally positioned with nature views is the grey cosy lounge area with two sofas opposite a coal-effect electric fire and Smart TV. Adjacent is an intimate, wooden dining table for two. At the back of the room is a farmhouse-style ‘U’-shaped fitted kitchen unit. Continue into the bedroom to find a double bed with a velvet headboard and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the lawn. Completing the interior is a white and wooden bathroom with a bath and a sauna. Outside is a decked veranda with a sunken hot tub and furniture. Beyond here is a games room which is shared with neighbouring properties. There is ample private parking.
This countryside lodge, located on a historic farm, is just 6.5 miles from the market town of Eye – where you can dine out at one of the local restaurants. Head into the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Park (19 miles) to find the golden shores of Dunwich Beach (21.5 miles). For a day out at a classic seaside town, visit Aldeburgh, Thorpeness or Southwold (all within 26 miles). Also nearby is the well-preserved, historic Framlington Castle (9.5 miles).
