Head to East Suffolk for a romantic getaway in this romantic barn conversion with a wooden beamed ceiling for two humans and one four-legged friend. Bring your rackets for the onsite tennis courts and spend your evenings relaxing in the garden or snuggled up on the sofa in front of the wood burner. Explore the sandy beaches, hiking trails and nature reserves in the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Step inside the open-plan living space to find a cosy living area with a vaulted ceiling, a warming wood burner and two plump sofas in front of the SmartTV and doors to the patio. Next to this is an intimate dining area with contemporary seating around a table. Completing this space is a compact corner kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal for two. The double bedroom is elegant and bright with neural-toned decor and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Outside is a patio area with furniture.

During your stay in the small, historic village of Bramfield you’ll have a canine-friendly pub on your doorstep (within 0.5 miles) plus a golf course 2 miles away. Take a picnic to the coastal nature reserve of RSPB Minsmere (8.5 miles) and explore the woods, wetlands and bird-spotting hides. Near here is the Leiston Abbey Chapel (8.5 miles) and the dog-friendly National Trust Dunwich Heath and Beach (9 miles). The picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh is 16 miles away and is a great place to visit for access to coastal trails, like the Snape footpath, a stroll along the River Alde and a spot of lunch before relaxing on the beach.

Wonderful property in beautiful setting. Andrea the host was very welcoming and left us a lovely welcome pack which we were really appreciative of. It was our third stay and once again we were not disappointed. Would highly recommend.

We loved The Byre and it's location, it was fabulous for exploring and walking. We didn't meet the owners but Andrea recommended a great place to eat and we went there 3 times. We would love to return.

This is an Idyllic & peaceful countryside lodge in a beautiful meadow setting. Ideal for walks and total relaxation. If you want to get away from hustle and bustle this is just the place. The nearest pub/ restaurant is 5 mins away and nearest beach is 20 mins by car. The accommodation was full of character with wooden beams and high quality feaRead moretures making the stay comfortable and special with everything you need when staying away from home. Andrea was very welcoming. The complementary basket was much appreciated. The outdoor seating added extra space to the accommodation and as We had taken our little dog Rosie she did enjoy the freedom to roam around the area. We highly recommend this accommodation and will be returning next year. Hide
