Description

The Granary at Croft Farm in the popular village of Snape is a well presented three-bedroom holiday home only a short drive away from the Suffolk coastline. This converted farm building has been transformed into a self-catering property for five guests and ideally suited to families. With a converted building of this style you can imagine high ceilings, character features and rustic charm – here there’s plenty! The kitchen diner is a large area where guests can socialise together during meal times. The cosy sitting room can be found just off the kitchen and is a great place to unwind in front of the television. There is also a handy shower room on the ground floor in addition to the family bathroom upstairs.

Up the staircase to the first floor you’ll find three bedrooms. The master has retained some its character features with rustic vaulted ceiling beams. Skylight windows allow plenty of light to this room. The remaining two bedrooms are a twin bedded room which works for both adults and children and a single bedroom with added benefit of two windows. The family bathroom provides a calming atmosphere with its bath tub and blue and cream tones throughout.

Outside there is a lovely enclosed garden area at the front of the property with garden furniture which is a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors. The Granary also comes with a handy private parking space – making your holiday in Snape all the more easy.

The Granary and The Forge are both situated within Croft Farm and can be booked together to accommodate seven guests. Shop: 500 yards Pub: 1300 yards.

Snape is best known as the venue for the Aldeburgh Festival and for other events throughout the year held in the Maltings Concert Hall. However, the pretty village, at the head of the tidal estuary, is a popular holiday venue in its own right and central for exploring the unique area of the Suffolk Heritage Coast - the tidal estuary and network of footpaths are one of the most interesting areas of Suffolk for exploring on foot. There is easy access to the fascinating coastal town of Aldeburgh, plus castles and much more to explore at Framlingham and Orford. The burial treasures at Sutton Hoo, near Woodbridge, should not be missed either.

Mr Peter C,

Loved Suffolk having never been before. Granary comfort home from home. Relaxing, tranquil, fantastic walks. Picked a great week to stay and sampled many of the fish dishes around the area

Previous Customer,

We have stayed at the Granary several times before, so it held no surprises for us. We have family in the area who we visit and find it a perfect location, not only for the family, but for access to Aldeburgh, Southwold, Snape and other local attractions.

Mr Ian B,

We had a really relaxing holiday at The Granary, a lovely cottage, very comfortable, thoughtfully equipped and very clean. It is a great base from which to explore Suffolk, especially the coast and heaths, with Aldeburgh being only a ten-minute drive away. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of Croft Farm.

Previous Customer,

The beautiful location of Croft Farm has brought us back to The Granary on our 14th visit. Weather lovely, much to do in Suffolk. Sally and Eddie are so helpful and kind.

Gill and J,

Once more to Aldeburgh Music and wonderful walks in wooded lanes and tracks
