Aldeburgh, home of the famous Aldeburgh Festival of Music, is a charming, historic seaside resort with many fine Georgian buildings. The town was a medieval fishing centre and fishermen still draw their boats onto the shingle beach to sell their catches. The area around Aldeburgh reflects the unspoilt nature of the Suffolk coast and only two miles along the shore is the unusual coastal village of Thorpeness, with its picturesque mere and excellent golf course. The town has a good selection of shops and eateries.

My wife and l had a wonderful time at Shoreline. lt was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for a small space. lt was well equipped and very well placed for the beach, the town and to travel around the area. Aldeburgh is a smart place with some excellent bars and restaurants as well as delis and fashion shops. l would stay there again and would chose Shoreline were it available. Thank you!
This was our second visit to shoreline we had a lovely time here 5 years ago, in August 2014. This was wonderful! Shoreline is beautifully decorated, perfectly located very comfortable and extremely well stocked! Despite the rain we had a brilliant time! We warmed ourselves by the fire at the Cross Keys pub and went to the cinema, we had fish n chips at the Aldeburgh Golden Gallion, we had a splendid dinner at the Lighthouse and when the sun shone for us we spent a morning walking to Thorpeness and enjoyed the conservation are there. We cant wait to come back.
Beautiful place to spend our anniversary....shame the weather wasn't a little kinder, but great fun watching the waves crashing on the shore at midnight. We love Aldeburgh & Thorpeness, so will definitely be back. Thankyou.
All the right facilities and great location. Quite a lot of sun too!
