Entering this sweet and welcoming property, the ground floor offers a colourful kitchen which doubles as a cheerful breakfast room, alongside a stylishly designed dining room perfect for enjoying celebratory family meals together. Upstairs, the first-floor lounge is a lovely space with a wood burner, soft furnishings, a TV, piano and window seats looking though the bay windows and out to sea. The first floor also features the first of the three bright and tastefully furnished super-king-size bedrooms: an airy and relaxing room with an en-suite bathroom. Going up to the second floor you will find the stylish shower room and the two final bedrooms, one with stunning sea views and a lovely en-suite shower room. We had a very enjoyable holiday here. The house is warm, comfortable and well equipped with the bonus of a log burner and a garage. Brilliant location close to the beach and town with lovely views.

This is a very well equipped house with lovely bedrooms, decorated to a high standard and good bathrooms, its a plus to have ample bathrooms when a number of people are staying.

Lovely property in an amazing location at the back of the High Street with all its' interesting shops and food outlets, and facing the sea. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our week here.

9 king street was beautiful, and in a wonderful position, very central, for beach shops and restaurants. The standard of furnishings and comfort was top notch.A garage was a wonderful bonus.All in all we all agreed it was one of the best we had been to. We had a wonderful holiday.

Number 9 was absolutely wonderful in every way and we would highly recommend staying there. Warm, comfortable, and homely , really nice decor throughout and lovely feeling of space. Fantastic base

We did send an email regarding the cleanliness of the property at 23.02 on 17 November but have not received any reply. Bathrooms appeared to be as used by previous residents and not cleaned perhaps for a considerable time - a gross hair ball was in the bath and what looked like hair and toothpaste all over the sink. There was an unpleasant mark onRead more one bath towel and on stripping the bed the pillows were stained and the mattress cover stained - really disgusting!- we took pictures if required. The kitchen had food residue in the sink and crockery and pans , very unpleasant. The house itself was fine and a lovely position and we have stayed in Suffolk secrets properties before and are staying in one in Southwold first weekend in December. This is the first time we have had this experience and it has made us a little unsure of going to unknown properties. We have stayed at Thallassa in Aldeburgh on many occasions and cannot speak highly of them for quality and cleanliness. Hide

Excellent location..70 yards from one of the prettiest High streets and 70 yards from beach And exceedingly well equipped kitchen with centrepiece kitchen table for 4/6 people.Agood sized dining room.
