Enjoy a romantic escape with your special someone at this cute single-story house nestled in the peaceful village of Wangford. This cosy haven for two is an idyllic accommodation option for couples seeking to swap the hectic pace of everyday life for some tranquil time together in the Suffolk countryside. During the day, treat yourself to a picnic a Wangford Millennium Green before stopping off in one of the traditional village pubs to sample a local beer. In the evening, come home to the cottage to snuggle on the sofa in front of your favourite TV show, or take a seat on the patio to soak up the view of the starry skies.

Step inside and you'll be greeted by the bright and airy open-plan sitting room/kitchen area. Allow yourself to unwind on the sofa before you head to the quaint kitchen to rustle up a romantic dinner for two. Share it with your loved one at the cosy dining table, or if you prefer to dine alfresco, just open up the glass door that leads out into the pretty courtyard. After dinner, treat yourself to a glass of something cool and crisp as the stars come out, or head back to the sitting room to cosy-up in front of the TV. When the day is done, retreat to your inviting country-style bedroom.

Start your day the right way with a stroll at Henham Park (2 miles), where there are plenty of pretty hidden pathways to explore. Or head to Southwold (3. 5 miles) to enjoy some quality beach time or take a stroll along the town’s traditional pier. Lovely little cottage, immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need. Had a lovely time, weather was kind and just a short drive to Southwold Aldeburgh and Dunwich. We hope to come back next year.

The Tack Room was ideal for our short break. It had everything we needed and being on a bus route was useful. The location was lovely and quiet providing a peaceful holiday. A good choice of places to visit nearby with a short car drive. Southwold just 10 minutes by bus. Our host was very friendly and helpful, and easy to contact.

Weve now stayed in all the barns at this complex and will obviously return! Linda, the host, is always welcoming and maintains the property to a very high standard. The location is great for exploring locally (especially the walkable Angel inn!) and the village is served by an excellent bus service.

Comfortable stay with handy farm shop next door. The excellent Angel pub is a 15 minute walk away and local buses run to Southwold outside the farm shop. Parking on site. Quiet location with outdoor seating for warmer weather.

The Tack Room provided us with warm, comfortable and very clean accommodation in an excellent peaceful rural location, while being only a 10 minute or so drive from Southwold. The adjoining farm shop was very useful for fresh produce and last minute supplies and the owner and all the staff we met there were very friendly and helpful. It was our firRead morest visit to Suffolk and we had a wonderful week exploring the coastline and interesting little towns and villages nearby. Hide

It was great for what we needed, the wet-room was good, although a grab rail in the shower would have been helpful. It was comfortable, clean and tidy throughout the cottage and we enjoyed our stay. It was well located and peaceful. Just what we needed.
