Ideal accommodation in the centre of Orford. Central but peaceful location with its own parking space. The house was spotlessly clean everywhere. Good ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms/toilets. Spacious, light and airy living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Excellent showers. Highly recommended.

Wing Cottage is a very spacious discrete wing of a larger property set near Orfords Market Square. The entrance lobby leads to a long wide hall with plenty of hooks for coats etc. stairs to first floor and at the end a small desk if you feel doing a bit of work. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom next to a large bathroom and also a separate toiRead morelet. The second bedroom, also large has an en-suite. Downstairs is open plan with lounge, wood burner, comfortable sofas dining area leading to a very well equipped kitchen. Private parking within the very large garden is an added bonus as Orford can be busy during the summer. The cottage is five minutes walk from the excellent local shops. P.O. local stores selling everything, lovely bakery to name just two. For food we always have a fish meal at the Oysterage all caught by Orfords fishermen and the Sunday Roast at the Crown and Castle was very good. Orford offers peace and quiet especially in winter months. It you want to venture further away larger towns can be reached within a short drive, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh Snape etc. Orford, and the surrounding area have become our favourite place for holidays as its only two hours journey from where we live in Kent. We have rented many local cottages over the years but undoubtedly this one is the best. We will return again in 2026 twice as we love staying here so much. Hide

The cottage is in a great position, with a lovely large garden. An attractive cottage although, on a minir point, the ground floor could probably benfit from some paint refreshing.

An exceptional property in all respects, plenty of room with a lovely garden. High standard of equipment particularly the kitchen. Nice airy bedrooms with en suite and family bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Could not really be in a much better position just off the centre of the village. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage. There was plenty of supplies to welcome us - milk, tea, coffee and wine! Also, all we needed in terms of equipment and cleaning products. Two large bedrooms with en-suite or adjoining bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. The cottage is in an ideal location right next to the castle and round Read morethe corner from the village square. The garden was well maintained and very pretty. Hide
