This fantastic property, set in the 12-acre grounds of Blyth View, is a Georgian Grade II-listed building. Within the grounds, there is a swimming pool and gym, making this an ideal base for families and large groups of guests. The accommodation is over three floors and boasts three bathrooms and four bedrooms and is only 5 miles away from the popular seaside town of Southwold.

This property is the ideal holiday choice. Enter into the spacious and bright sitting room which has a comfortable sofa and chairs, a TV, a DVD player, an iPod dock, and a door to the rear garden. The dining room has another sofa as well as a long dining table seating all your guests. The kitchen is also spacious and has everything needed to whip up celebratory meals for everyone. A cloakroom with a WC finishes off this floor. The first floor houses three of the four bedrooms: an en-suite super-king-size bed which can convert to twin beds (please specify your preference at the time of booking), a double and a twin. There is also a family bathroom for these latter two rooms to share. The final bedroom has the second floor to itself and comprises an en-suite king-size room. Outside, there’s a patio area with garden furniture and steps down to a lawn overlooking open countryside. Guests have use of an immaculate indoor swimming pool from 31 March - 1 November and a gymnasium which are shared by other residents.

Blythburgh is a pretty, unspoilt village located 3 miles from Walberswick and just over 4 miles from Southwold. It is a small, quiet village with a historic public house serving good food, fine views of the estuary and the famous 15th-century church known as the Cathedral of the Marshes. There is also a village shop. Just 15.5 miles away is Framlington Castle, a beautiful fortification where you can learn some interesting history about the area or just take a pleasant walk around the moat. If you’ve got the kids with you, head north 16.5 miles to Lowestoft where you can visit Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park and while away the day on the amusements.

  • 4 bedrooms - 1 super-king-size (can be made up as a twin on request), 1 king-size, 1 double, 1 twin

Quiet rural location, 4 good sized bedrooms and a good sized dining room make this a nice house for a group of 7 or 8. There are nice pubs with good food quite close but you do need to drive. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but during our stay the dishwasher was not working. There is a nice little circuit of a meadow and views over the fRead moreields and distant river from the back of the house. We enjoyed swimming and the games room but be advised you do have to book slots and can only do so once per day. Hide

Lovely house, a lot bigger in real life than it seems in pictures! Nice attention to details, with books, childrens toys, bouncer, amazing sized travel cot and stair gate (if needed). House feels lovely, fresh and light. House felt clean and welcome pack was lovely with some brilliant local ground coffee! Would stay again and recommend to a friend.Read more Hide

A beautiful house with ample space for all the family, that is extremely well equipped. Beautiful views of an untouched landscape to watch the sun set from the balcony. The added bonus of the pool and leisure facilities was also great and the perfect base for exploring Suffolk.
