Overall, house was excellent. Lots of great information was provided in welcome pack. House was comfortable, well furnished (loved the decor) and practical (from a dog owner perspective). The garden space was a great too. Great walking from house

A great location in a lovely small village with good pub and a small shop. We enjoyed visiting Dunwich, Aldeburgh and Southwold which were only short drives away. Number Eight is an attractive cottage with many attractions. Unfortunately what was probably the first let of 2026 was disappointing with several things not working.

We had a brilliant stay at Number Eight. It is a warm and comfortable bungalow with a very well-provisioned kitchen and comfortable beds. The heating and the shower are both excellent, and having the extra WC works well when there are 5 adults. We enjoyed all our meals in the house and visited Dunwich for walking and the fantastic museum, and Read moreMinsmere for walks and birds - we saw marsh harriers, bittern and snipe, over and above the usual wading birds and ducks. Excellent holiday home in a fantastic village location. Just returned from a week stay with our dog and the home had everything you could possibly need to ensure a great stay. Lots of useful local information and about Suffolk generally. Our greyhound absolutely loved it, great enclosed garden and all in one level. The triple glazed windows and ecoRead more heating made it comfortable, peaceful and a really pleasant space to relax in after great days out exploring the area. Hide

We had a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing stay in this clean and very generously equipped cottage. The location is great, as the village of Westleton is very pretty and Dunwich is a short drive. We have stayed before and are looking forward to staying here again.

This was our second visit to No.8. We will not be returning soon. All the good points of the location, comfort and relaxation were spoiled by niggling issues of ants, water flow to bathroom basin, loose toilet, loose bath. We enjoyed our stay at Number 8. It is in a great location, close to the village of Westleton and the coast, and is very private. Our children enjoyed playing in the large garden, and all of the accommodation being on one level was a great benefit for us. The shower was great as well, not often something found in holiday homes. There were a few issRead moreues with the cleanliness of the property - the general areas, such as kitchen and bathroom, were clean. However, there was quite a lot of dust and cobwebs in most of the rooms. Also, although we were given a bag full of goodies which was lovely, there were no bin bags and no spare toilet paper or kitchen roll (that we could find). We ended up having to buy these basics ourselves. Hide
