This magnificent holiday home sits within 14 acres of parkland and enjoys far-reaching views across the Blyth Valley. The property makes a fantastic base for small families, who are welcome to use the on-site indoor swimming pool, gym, and table tennis throughout the year. The quintessential Suffolk village of Blythburgh is 1.5 miles away, and boasts a traditional village pub, thatched cottages, and a stunning medieval church. There are some delightful walks from the village, including to the seaside village of Walberswick (5 miles).

An impressive, tree-lined driveway leads to the converted stable, which adjoins a gorgeous Grade II-listed Georgian property. Inside, discover a spacious lounge/diner, where you can spend quality time together sharing stories on the sumptuous leather sofas and tucking into delicious meals around the wooden dining table. A separate kitchen provides everything you need for a self-catering holiday with the family. When it’s time for bed, choose from an airy double bedroom with its own little reading nook or the cosy bunk bedroom. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, there is a small, secluded garden with outdoor furniture and guests are also welcome to explore the surrounding shared grounds.

Pack your buckets and spades and head to Southwold (5.5 miles) for a day at the seaside. Eat ice creams on the beach, hire a beach hut, and splash in the sea. The town has an excellent range of cafes and restaurants, many serving delicious local seafood. Snape Maltings (16 miles) also makes a great day out. As well as hosting many music events throughout the year, the popular venue also has a fabulous collection of boutiques, galleries, and eateries to explore, as well as some gorgeous walks in the surrounding countryside.

A beautiful cottage in a very quiet setting. The pool was a bonus and we had no problem booking sessions. Beds were really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Plenty of books, games and dvds for entertainment. Great base for exploring this part of Suffolk. Host was very good at communicating. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage, excellent location. Very quiet stay, we felt it was a well equipped cottage and our daughter loved the added bonus of the toys and books available, we liked it so much that we have booked again for next year.
