Settle into a sumptuous stay at this gorgeous Suffolk barn near Middleton. Sleeping six guests, the magnificent, three-bedroom retreat sits in scenic countryside, 6 miles from the market town of Saxmundham and close to the picturesque Suffolk Heritage Coast. Cosy up inside beside the crackling wood burner or bask out in the glorious sunshine of the garden.

Climb a short flight of wooden steps up to the front door, then enter to find gorgeous accommodation that marries the impressive, original character and charm of the barn with sleek, contemporary features. At the centre of the barn is a breathtaking, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a high vaulted ceiling, exquisite exposed timbers and an abundance of windows that bring the natural light streaming in. Enjoy the warmth of the underfloor heating, but light the wood burner to create an inviting ambience. Play games, watch the Smart TV and prepare hearty meals with Suffolk produce in the high-specification kitchen. Dine in splendour at the central table. Two of your bedrooms, a king-size, with an en-suite shower room and an extra single day bed, and a twin are both also downstairs, together with a family bathroom. Climb the wooden staircase up to a mezzanine level with a glass wall to discover a second twin room. The lawned gardens wrap around the barn, providing plenty of space for children and pets to play. Cook out on the BBQ and dine under the huge Suffolk sky. There is off-road parking here for four cars.

Plan to have a day out by the sea at Aldeburgh, 8 miles away, and dine on fresh seafood while you are here. Southwold, with its sandy beach, pier and array of shops and eateries, is 12 miles away. Visit renowned Snape Maltings, with its shops, galleries and concert hall, 9.5 miles away.

a really lovely property with everything you could ask for ,very well equiped and clean . only slight negative is that the road its on is quite busy at the moment with traffic due to various projects nearby ,but didnt really notice after first day. loads of stunning beaches / heathland for within a 10 minute drive so well worth a visit.
