Wake up to wonderful coastal views from this cosy seaside pad, part of Felixstowe’s prestigious maritime park development. It’s a mile from the vibrant town centre and only moments from the long stretch of sands that seal Felixstowe’s status as a holiday hotspot. From here, couples can enjoy a healthy dose of salty sea air with romantic strolls along the prom, passing traditional amusement arcades, public gardens and upmarket bars and cafes.

A climb up wooden stairs leads you to the front door. Inside, the studio-style apartment is awash with natural light thanks to huge windows that frame the glorious view of the sea. Snuggle up in the king-size bed to watch the Smart TV or settle on the sofa with a good book. The kitchenette is tucked away in one corner, and there’s a dining suite where you can eat and plan your next day’s adventures. A door opens into a contemporary shower room, perfect for freshening up after a day on the beach or before turning in for the night. Outside, breathe in the fresh sea air from the enclosed front garden or wander among the landscaped garden areas within the maritime park, which lead to a Martello Tower and the beach.

At the point where the North Sea meets the River Deben, the fishing hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry (4 miles) is a brilliant spot to source fresh seafood for dinner. You can also take the foot ferry to Bawdsey, famous as the birthplace of modern radar and steeped in military heritage. For a fun night out, book tickets to a show at the Spa Pavilion Theatre (1 mile) or enjoy a drink in one of the vibrant converted shipping container bars on Beach Street, just 150 metres from the property.

Bright and airy, as described. Bed and couch very comfortable. Air con was a bonus as the studio could otherwise get very warm on sunny days. Surprisingly quiet, given the location next to the play area. It was nice to fall asleep with the sound of the sea and the view from the big windows is lovely. A very comfortable property in an excellent location. We enjoyed our stay despite some very wet & windy weather.
