With its quiet position, located in a pretty Suffolk village on the edge of Dedham Vale, designated area of outstanding natural beauty this barn is ideally suited for exploring the local area. A myriad of walking and cycling tracks join quaint wool towns and villages known for their independent shops and antique stores. At least one trip to the Suffolk Heritage coastline is highly recommended with guests spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful seaside towns to visit with Walberswick, Southwold and Aldeburgh featuring high on many peoples lists. The local landscape has been immortalised by many of the paintings of renowned artist John Constable while historical sightseeing continues in nearby Colchester and Bury St Edmunds.

This barn conversion is entered via an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with full height ceilings which continue throughout the property, with brick flooring adding both charm and character. Guaranteed to take the chill off any evening, the free-standing wood burner adds an element of romance and cosiness to any occasion while guests relax in the lounge area on the comfortable sofa to watch their favourite film on the Smart TV/ & DVD player . The dining area has a table providing a place to enjoy meals together and perhaps play a board game or two. There are two inter-connecting doors with the other half of the barn conversion which can be opened up if required, allowing both barns to be joined as one, to sleep parties of up to six. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with everything required for holiday dining and comprises electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and a handy washing machine. Moving through to the bedrooms, guests will find two well-furnished and comfortable bedrooms which once again benefit from high ceilings giving a wonderful spacious feel. The first is a double bedroom, which includes a Smart TV allowing guests to snuggle up to watch their favourite programmes. Leading from the bedroom and en suite shower room. The second is a twin bedroom, again with Smart TV. Completing the accommodation is a stylish shower room with shower and WC.

Stepping out through the lounge doors guests will find an enclosed garden which enjoys views out over paddocks and farmland beyond. A patio area with garden furniture and BBQ provides al fresco dining opportunities during the warmer months. There is off-road parking available for two cars.

Really lovely character barn conversion nestled in some of the best countryside Suffolk has to offer. We had no problems finding scenic walks and friendly pubs. The breakfast at the local farm shop/cafe is top notch as well! Accommodation was clean and spacious, with a nice terrace out the back that gets the sun all day.
