Banham Zoo has to offer a range of family activities or alternatively relax in the lodge with river and fishing lake just a short walk away.

Arriving at the lodge guests will make their way into the lovely kitchen area which opens into the open-plan lounge/diner. In the kitchen guests will find everything they require for holiday dining, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer  and a handy dishwasher to help clean away after. The lodge was comfortable and in a very good location for getting to the village for pubs, takeaway and co-op. The bathroom would benefit for an update, particularly the shower and ventilation in the room.

A lovely place to stay and a very helpful owner. Although we didnt use it, there is a log burner, complete with fuel and lighting accessories. There is a convenience store, a fish and chip shop, and a couple of pubs just down the road in the village. Theres also a river nearby where fishing is permitted. We would definitely stay in Harling Lodge agRead moreain if we holiday in the area. Hide

Shops and pubs within easy walking distance were the best feature of this property. The fishing is excellent. The worst feature is the noise. Be aware that there is an extremely noisy boarding kennel next door and on one night I had to sleep with ear plugs. Not recommended unless you like dogs.
