A very quirky cottage with very old type features such as uneven floors, beams to duck under (but the lounge was great as no ducking required). Kitchen well equipped and the milk frother was fab. Posh deli, normal shop, tea room and pub all within walking distance.

As we love old houses, Inglenook fireplaces, beams and beautiful oak floorboards, this fitted the bill perfectly. We lit the fire on one occasion and it was so cosy, sofas were really comfortable. As I prefer a bath to a shower, I didn't have a problem with the small size, I enjoyed the depth. It was very well equipped, nothing left out. Loved the Read moregarden, a real asset. Location was perfect as a base for places to visit and the village shop so handy. All in all we had a enjoyable stay and after a week, we had become used to avoiding the low beams and navigating the wonky staircase. This old house had so much character and had a good feel to it. A lovely welcome to a warm cottage, box of biscuits and bottle of wine left for us, thank you. A Christmas tree had been decorated, a very thoughtful touch. Woodburner made it even more cosy. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked our Christmas lunch there with no problems. We coped with the unusual bathing facilities, but would have preferred a pRead moreroper shower. Parking inside the gate only suitable for a small car, but we parked out front easily. Pretty village and a great pub within walking distance. Hide

Lovely characterful cottage, very clean and comfortable (as long as you mind your head on the low ceilings!). We found it well kitted-out with everything we needed, while retaining some quirky tudor features. The unusual bathtub is great for a relaxing soak, but a bit of a struggle to wash hair. Otherwise would highly recommend.
