The cottage is in a great location - quiet but easy to walk into the centre of Orford - which is a lovely village. There was plenty to do in the local area and the pubs in the village and the bakery all served good food. We were not aware when booking that this is a family home and this makes it more like an air bnb in that the house is full of perRead moresonal possessions, photos etc and there are some clothes already in the wardrobes. This may not be an issue for many people but it was not something that we felt comfortable with. Generally the house is very peaceful but it is semi detached and the walls are extremely thin so you can hear the tv etc from next door. That said, we had good weather and a pleasant week away. Hide

A beautiful well equipped house in a great location. The conversion from old house to one with lovely modern touches was appreciated by our party of three architects, a textiles teacher and their 9 month old apprentice. This was a great base for exploring the wider area of this part of Suffolk. The art on the walls was loved by all too. Highly recoRead moremmended! Hide
