Walnut house is the perfect holiday home. We used it for family celebration (10 people with ages 8 to 72 yrs old) and found everything we needed. The owners are very welcoming and friendly offering good advice on local attractions and amenities. We shall certainly be returning.

Lovely house for multi generational family group. Lift was definitely a benefit and was well used. Pool was fabulous, so big and very clean. Lovely having so many en-suites and the deck area was so lovely looking over the fields. The downstairs pub was well used by the youngsters (well in their 20s!) and was a great space for there to be differRead moreent areas for playing music, sport on tv etc. a bit let down by kitchen, but then we are unusual and cook each night. But overall it is a great place and Paul was really good. Left is on our own, but we knew were he was there if we needed him. Lots to do in the area and we had great fun on beech and Somerlayton is definitely worth a visit if you like gardens. Overall it was a lovely holiday amd would recommend it totally Hide

We had a fantastic family holiday at this beautiful property. The location is absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time watching the wildlife around us, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The pool, hot tub and games room were excellent and provided endless entertainment for the whole family. We spent lots of quality time together and shared Read moreso many laughs, making wonderful memories throughout our stay. Paul was a great host, very welcoming and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and well presented, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything required for a home from home stay. Paul, the owner, is the nicest host you can have. Nothing too much trouble. We stayed for our mum's 80th. Paul left mum a card, chocs and bubbles for her special day. So thoughtful. The house was fantastic, the facilities were so good, bar, pool and hot tub were a massive treat. The large amount of space was great, allowing room for everyone without feeling on top of each other. The lift was a blessing for our parents! I would recommend and cannot wait to visit again in the future.

Had a fantastic week at this cottage celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. Paul the owner was there to meet and greet us and had even left a present for my husband along with a hamper of goodies. The cottage is amazing with everything that you need. It is very spacious and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. The swimming pool was always Read morelovely and warm and the pub is a great place to get together. The local area had plenty to do, we hired a boat on Oulton Broad and visited a couple of the seaside towns, Southwold is nice if you prefer a quieter seaside without all the amusements. Lovely property, all the family enjoyed the swimming pool which was well thought out regarding hand rails which was a God send for family members who required support getting in and out of the pool. The house is exactly as pictured. Its clean, comfortable and the owners are welcoming. The pool is clean and warm ( been to similar sounding property that promised but didnt deliver). Book and you wont be disappointed. Highly recommend !

A spacious property with beautiful countryside views ,The owner is most welcoming and the welcome gifts were super. The property is perfect for holiday fun. The private pool is lovely and warm. This is an amazing place to stay, the welcome from Paul is brilliant and he's got the balance of being helpful without intruding just right. Such a lovely place. An amazing indoor swimming pool that kept all the family entertained. We didn't need to go far. When the weather was warm we were able to sit out on the balcony area, overlooking the fields watching for wildlife. Very well equipped, had all we needed. Fantastic house , kept all of my family occupied whilst we was there. The swimming pool and the hot tub are amazing. We had great fun with the pool table & dart board too. The dogs had ample room inside and outside. Very local to shops and food outlets. Would certainly love to come back again !

An excellent find! Spacious and clean. Absolutely everything you can think of is catered for. Wonderful to sit and watch the deer, pheasants, hare and birdlife from the terrace. Paul goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Walnut house is amazing - a real gem. Owner was a perfect host. Available if we needed anything - he warmly met us when we arrived and showed us round. The house was well equipped- definitely we had everything there we needed. The pictures do not do this house justice. The games room, pool and hot tub kept us entertained all weekend.
