The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The setting is beautiful, completely immersed in the Suffolk countryside. As an EV driver it was a huge bonus to have the use of a charger at the property, and meant we didn't have to seek one out when travelling around Suffolk and Norfolk. Absolutely first rate. Wanted somewhere quiet, peaceful and relaxing and the cottage hit every requirement. Cottage central to where we needed and the history/current use also provided an interesting week. Thank you Martin and Heather.

Had a wonderful break at Pond Dairy cottage. The cottage itself is charming and compact, but plenty big enough for 2 or 3 people, and my dog was also well catered for. The double bed was extremely comfortable, and everything you may need is provided. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings, next to fields of sheep and chickens, and it was a joy toRead more see the ducks and their babies by the pond. The hosts, Martin and Heather, were friendly and helpful, and the garden beautifully kept. The property was within driving distance of several beaches and places of interest, although it's a beautiful spot if you just wanted a break from everything and didn't want to go anywhere else! The beaches are not within walking distance of the cottage. Our hosts Martin and his wife were very friendly and hospitable and it was lovely to spend time on their farm and to be shown round and meet the animals too. The quality of the food at The Swan, at Barnby (20 minutes walkaway) was very good and competitively priced. I can recommend the Mutford Cider made by Martin, some of which returned back to London with us! We had a lovely holiday at Dairy Cottage. Hide

This cottage was just what we expected. It was plenty big enough for the three of us, we had our great grandson (Albie7) with us. We were out in the countryside but still only 10 minutes from Beccles. The chickens kept us all amused rushing out everytime we came out of the cottage. Mark ( the farmer)showed us around the barn and introduced us to Read morehis animals. This was quite a highlight for Albie although he is never eating sausages again after meeting Susan the pig!!. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage. We came home with the excellent Mutford cider and honey and feeling very relaxed. Hide
