Sea views, bay windows and splendid contemporary decor are just some of the features set to delight in this newly renovated property. The mid-terrace holiday home is in the vibrant seaside holiday destination of Southwold, mere metres from the lovely beach and lively pier. Perfect for families or groups friends with the dog in tow, enjoy gentle strolls into the town’s centre, or further afield along the dramatic coastal path, before returning for a relaxing evening curled up in front of the lounge’s wood burner.

This character cottage offers a wonderful blend of modern decor and inviting comfort, ideal for resting and recharging in an aesthetically pleasing setting. Outside, a tranquil, enclosed patio awaits, the perfect spot for a morning cuppa or al fresco evening meal.

Many of Southwold’s attractions are within just half a mile of the house, so make sure to find time for a tour of the town’s historic lighthouse, and a visit to Adnams Brewery, not forgetting to stop on the promenade for some classic fish and chips. On the outskirts of town, the Southwold Maize Maze (2 miles) is a popular attraction and a great starting point for walking routes that circle around and link up with the River Blythe.

The Ned is a lovely house with a fantastic view of the light house when you step out of the front door. It is in the perfect location too but unfortunately there were a few problems in the house such as a toilet door which could not be closed and certainly not locked! Also the same toilet had a hot water tap that leaked and could not be turned on. Read moreWhen we reported this to holiday cottages nothing was ever done about it. There was also no wifi signal for a lot of the time which meant no TV or radio. One important health and safety problem was lack of bath mat in bath which was the only shower. This caused one of our party to slip and injure themselves which put a damper on our holiday. The house was very clean with a beautiful kitchen but the garden, in particular the garden furniture was very tired and let it down. Beds were extremely comfortable although bedrooms were lacking dressing tables (somewhere to put toiletries) and mirrors. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay, location is great and we were able to park outside the property. Walls a little thin if you have children with you( noise from next door!)

Lovely, comfortable property, great location just one road back from the beach. Very generous sized bedrooms and parking always available on the street outside.

Beautifully decorated, stylish house in a superb location. Really comfy beds. The WiFi wasnt great while we were there so we couldnt use the TV in the living room. Forced us to play board games which was actually quite nice.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the house is so gorgeous and beautifully decorated. It felt very homely. The location is fab, an easy walk into the town. We had a leak with the shower and the team arranged someone to come out and fix it within the hour, such great service. Would definitely recommend this house for people to stay at and would sayRead more here again myself. Hide

Great location and lovely mid terrace house. Glad it was out of season though as walls very thin so a lot of sound from neighbours.
