In the summer, spend your days lounging on the pebbled Southwold Beach and enjoying the town’s rich cafe culture and bustling streets. The lounge next door is utterly inviting with sofas to snuggle up on, a wood burner and a Smart TV. Stream a film that you’ve been waiting to watch before retiring to bed. Upstairs, a king-size bedroom sits alongside an en-suite bathroom with all the facilities you may need. At the top of the house, find a cosy snug offering an office space, ideal for remote working. Outside, enjoy the sun-soaked courtyard at the rear. This enclosed outdoor area offers a bistro table and chairs for sitting and sipping your first coffee of the day.

Southwold is a thriving seaside town with so many appeals, including its traditional pier, the historic lighthouse and the local Adnams Brewery for sampling a local beer (all less than 0.5 miles). Wonderful/charming cottage with loads of character. Beautifully decorated. Dog friendly but perhaps small dogs only due to size. We have a labKitchen not big enough for 3 of us! But great grass area opposite around St Edmunds church. And location amazing as next to high street and short walk to sea front. Also wonderfully large and comfortable bedRead more as previous people have commented! We now want to get a super king :-) Hide

The cottage is ideally situated in a peaceful street in the centre of Southwold. The large bed is extremely comfortable and the shower in the adjoining bathroom is excellent.

A fantastic cottage. Beautiful location. So easy for pubs, shops and beaches. Parking was aliitle tricky at times and beware the stairs are very steep and spiral round a corner so not the easiest to use.

Beautiful and tasteful refurbishment of this pretty cottage + colourful furnishings, pictures and accessories which we loved and made our visit very comfortable - a joy to return to each day in such a peaceful location overlooking the lovely church. The log burner was a homely treat too on a chilly evening. Many thanks, we will return!

Beautifully furnished cottage, which also smells amazing in every room. The bed and pillows are fitting for a 5 star hotel. As the first to stay after refurbishment everything was perfect in every room. The kitchen seemed to have lots of utensils to cook most things and the dishwasher and washing machine are a bonus: Some teething issues with heaRead moreting were resolved and we enjoyed our stay. The stairs are narrow and steep, especially to the loft room, but manageable. Hide
