The whole family can enjoy a holiday on the stunning Suffolk coast at this impressive house in an excellent location in Southwold overlooking the Common with space for up to eight guests. Special features include a ground floor bedroom, a beach hut you can hire, enclosed gardens, and gorgeous views, plus your canine companions are welcome too.
The house is light and bright throughout with nautical touches, period features and luxurious additions to ensure a comfortable stay. Enter via the hallway and go into the lovely, light sitting room with a TV and an open fire for cosy evenings in, and a desk in the bay window if anyone needs to work. There’s a large, bespoke fitted kitchen and space for you to eat together in the dining area, where French doors lead out to the patio. A gorgeous king-size bedroom and a cloakroom complete the ground floor. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor: a twin, the Master with a super-king bed, gorgeous views, and a stunning Jack n Jill bathroom, a twin (or super-king), and a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. There’s also a little spot on the landing for a coffee with doors to the ornamental balcony. Fire up the BBQ for dinner al fresco on the patio while the kids and dogs play on the lawn in the enclosed rear garden.
Southwold is home to two beaches (nearest is less than 650 metres away), the Denes welcomes four-legged family members all year round, and the main Southwold Pier Beach, which has some restrictions. Play a round on the 9-hole heathland golf course on The Common opposite, visit the harbour (1 miles) and pop over to Walberswick to go crabbing and grab some fish and chips on your way home.
