There is a tearoom, and dogs on leads are welcome. Suffolk Owl Sanctuary (4 miles) is home to more than 80 owls and birds of prey from around the world, as well as a troupe of lively, meerkats. For a day at the seaside, head to charming Aldeburgh (22 miles). Jimmy's Farm and wildlife park is also an ideal place for a day out with plenty to see and do for all ages.
