Enjoy a holiday with your family and dog in this lovely bungalow. Situated in the Suffolk village of Snape, you’ll have access to beaches, days out, wildlife and much more. It’s the perfect spot for a family looking to explore the beauty of the UK.

As you enter the property you’ll find a large lounge with sliding glass doors which lead to the garden. This allows natural light into the room. If the sun is shining, take a drink and a book to the conservatory, a bright room with a sitting area great for socialising or quiet time, as you prefer. This space can also be used for dining. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need for rustling up big family meals or packing sandwiches for picnics. You’ll have two bedrooms, both comfortable and restful. One is a double and the other can either be organised as a twin or a double, according to your requirements. To the rear of the property is a large garden, enclosed with hedges so your dog and children can roam and play freely. There’s a table and chairs on a small patio, which would be perfect for morning cups of coffee.

Snape is an ideal spot for families who love the outdoors. You’ll be 0.5 miles from Snape Marshes, a 75 acre reserve teeming with wildlife, including reptiles (adders, slow worms, lizards and grass snakes), king fishers, owls, ponies, deer and otters. If you’d like to splash around, take a trip to Aldeburgh (5 miles) for a seaside town with excellent beaches. Finish with a big day out at Southwold Maize Maze (15.5 miles) which has a maze, go-karts, a double zipline and jumping pillows.

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 double, 1 zip-and-link twin that can be made into a king bed on request when booking

The property is situated in a good position, but is generally grubby with old stained linens/bedding/ towels/furniture. There was a mite infestation found in the kitchen. Holiday Cottages/Travel Chapter are not responding to my feedback or complaint and would strongly advise not to stay here until the infestation is sorted. Delightful bungalow in quiet setting. Convenient to pubs and The Maltings, High class Friday St. Farm Shop. Aldeburgh close by with lovely independent shops and sea front walks. Local areas just typical of the beautiful county of Suffolk.
