This quirky property, situated at the centre of the popular seaside town Southwold, is the perfect place for families or groups of friends that are looking for a quiet coastal getaway but still want plenty of things to do on the doorstep. Sleeping six over three characterful bedrooms, this charming holiday home has room for the whole family – including two dogs. Relax on the patio on sunny evenings with an alfresco drink while the kids and dogs run around on the lawn.

The owners have used pops of colour perfectly in this property – every room has its own theme. The kitchen and dining room flow seamlessly with one another thanks to green and blue tones, while pinks in the lounge work well with neutrals to create a cosy atmosphere. The quiet snug is perfect for curling up with a book in, or the kids might like it as a playroom. Flashes of green in the bathroom gives it a fresh feel, ideal for waking up in the morning, or you could use the stylish rainfall shower in the super-king-size en-suite for a spa-like experience. When it’s time for bed, snuggle into the rooms which all have their unique style and wake up refreshed and ready for a day of adventure.

Ideally situated for both shops and beach. Very spacious property with lovely big dining table. Two sitting rooms, both with large screen TVs is a definite bonus. Property, whilst decorated in a modern style, is starting to look dated. Carpets and upholstery would benefit from a deep clean.

Our second stay at 6 North Green which is set back from the road by the Green and on the doorstep of Southwold High Street and sea front, ideally placed to stroll into town or drive out to explore the neighbouring coastal villages and beaches. Plenty to see and do, wonderful walks along the coastline and stunning sunsets. The house is beautifullyRead more furnished and although not particularly large, it gives a wonderful feeling of space, even with six adults and a dog. The garden is extensive and laid to lawn with remnants of grander times, and not overlooked. Parking is tight but can accommodate three cars off road. We will certainly return to this gem of a town and accommodation. Hide

We loved this cottage, probably the best we have stayed in, ideal for a family group with 5 adults - loved the additional snug space which meant TV viewing preferences were not an issue over Christmas! Can highly recommend, decor fab and very comfy beds. Thanks

Overall very happy however could be improved. For example garden advertised as enclosed but no gate so dog could get out onto road. Duvets were far too heavy for the season. Garden was unkempt. Lots of cracks in windows and one wooden window frame was badly damaged. Generally felt that maintenance was not kept up

A perfect holiday home in a great location. Well furnished with very comfortable sofas and beds. A spacious home with a secure garden and easy to walk to all local shops and attractions. We really appreciated the quality of everything provided to make our stay feel like our home.

Excellent location and decor. Good quality furnishings and equipment. Comfy beds and spacious property. It lacked an information file, an iron and details of bin days etc. BBQ in garage unusable as clearly not cleaned previously. Open fire in living room would have been lethal if we had used it due to a pillow being stuffed up the flue! No welcome Read morepack! A good effort with many pluses but fell a bit short on details compared with others. Suggest a visitor book. Hide

This house had everything you could possibly want. From very comfortable beds to every possible piece of kitchen equipment. During our stay though we had sunshine, it was a little chilly but this house was very warm and cosy. If we had any minor complaints it was that the garden was not secure, even though we paid to bring our two dogs. The drivewaRead morey was very tight for two cars, and the road outside was very narrow, so no fault of the property owners. Hide

The cottage was superb, well positioned, very well equipped. Furnishings and fittings were excellent and the cottage was spotlessly clean. A couple of gripes were no dishwashing tablets, a shortage of loo rolls and no information on recycling. These are minor issues which can soon be remedied and would not stop me booking again.

Dont know where any future holidays might be so cannot commit to definitely booking with you. The worst part of these holidays is having to strip beds and empty bins - not the best ending to a break away. Its nothing to do with Covid either; hotels dont ask paying guests to do this.

More than happy with the holiday accommodation itself, we loved the house, it felt very fresh and well presented. However, there was no freezer and for a household of six people we felt that there should have been more and/or larger cooking pyrex/baking trays. Conversely, there was an abundance of new/stylish chinaware. Externally, there was a loRead moret of dog poo in the garden which we cleared up and the cover had blown off the outside table/chairs which consequently were filthy dirty. The fire in the living room was described as an "open fire" which we thought meant a fire we could light, however, there was stuffing in the chimney, so it was not clear. Finally, upon arrival at the property we found the "snug" floor to be soaking wet and a dehumidifier in situ. We had not been pre-informed about this situation or given advice on what we were expected to do. The room was unusable for most of the week and we had to keep re-setting the machine and regularly empty the water tank. I did find it strange that we had not been informed of the problem. Hide
