First class well equipped cottage and very homely and pretty with the decor and furnishings adding to the comfort of our stay. Wonderful extensive garden with seating and access to lots of walks from the cottage. The position of the cottage to the road is a shame especially during the rush hour periods. It is quite noisy and needs to be taken into Read moreaccount as there is no Double Glazing. The position of the shower over the bath is quite restrictive and you had to be very careful. We found the location great enabling us to get to lots of local areas by car. Hide

I can't recommend Riverside Cottage enough - it is a lovely place to stay. It is very comfortable place, situated in a beautiful location with a lovely garden alongside the river just next to Snape Maltings. All amenities are catered for, including eg. fast broadband and a well appointed little kitchen. We have been fortunate enough to spend four summer holidays there, and am sure we will return again. A cosy, quirky house that's utterly charming inside and out - a wonderful, thankfully only part tamed, garden of sun and shade where you can lose yourself - perfect location by the Alde and the marshes, over from Snape Maltings

A beautiful old cottage with a traditional garden in a lovely location. The cottage has been sympathetically modernised including central heating and new kitchen and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. In the smaller bedroom traffic noise from the nearby road can be heard. The main bedroom is lovely. There are many countryside walks from the Read morecottage door and the Maltings is a five minute walk away. The seaside resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold are within easy reach. The Golden Key pub which is nearby does excellent food at reasonable prices. Hide
