Take a big family holiday in this pretty property. Located in the seaside town of Aldeburgh, you’ll find plenty to keep everyone entertained. This house could accommodate two families and two dogs, so get ready for busy, bustling and exciting.
The majority of the building is on the ground floor (Clara’s note: the website mentions accessibility for wheelchair users), so as you enter you’ll see living spaces and bedrooms. To start, there’s a large lounge, brightly decorated and finished with an open fire. The floor is wooden, so listen out for the tapping of your dogs’ paws. This continues into the dining room, which is equally light and has windows and glass doors leading to the garden. It’s the perfect spot for a feast after a day on the beach. Next, check out the kitchen. It’s well-equipped and clearly laid out, and even has a coffee machine so you can wake up with a tasty drink. Three of the four bedrooms are downstairs. There’s a double bedroom, a twin room and a room with bunk beds for two children. Finally, there’s a downstairs bathroom with a deep bath and a shower with a seat. On the first floor, you’ll see the final bedroom, a comfortable double with an en-suite bathroom. The garden is charming, with a patio, raised flower beds for a pop of colour and a wooden table so you can enjoy meals with everyone.
Aldeburgh is great for families. You’ll find plenty of cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops and chippies if anyone is hungry. Take some time to stroll along Aldeburgh Beach (about 300 metres from the property), and see if you can find the giant scallop. If you’d like a day out, try the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (13 miles).
