Nestled in the heart of the quintessentially seaside town of Southwold just a stone’s throw from the wide sandy beach, promenade and pier that makes this part of the Suffolk Heritage Coast so irresistible, escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this contemporarily styled period cottage perfect for those looking to uncover this glorious Suffolk coastline.

No better remedy for soothing weary walking muscles is the roaring electric wood effect fire in the cosy lounge, boasting plenty of comfy seats for all the family to enjoy the ultimate film night in front of the Smart TV. Get creative with your local produce in the light and bright shaker-style kitchen/diner before gathering the gang to make special family memories seated around the generous wooden dining table. Choose between three beautifully presented bedrooms on the first floor, each featuring a soothing colour palette of neutral tones, or climb to the second floor to enjoy superb views across Southwold’s rooftops in the fourth bedroom before retiring for a well-deserved rest. Soak up the last of the day’s sunshine by dining alfresco long into the evening in the enclosed courtyard.

Lined with colourful beach huts, Southwold offers everything you’d expect to find at a quintessentially seaside town; a Blue Flag awarded beach less than half a mile away, an Edwardian pier less than a mile away boasting an excellent selection of restaurants and breathtaking sea views and boat trips out to sea to spot a variety of wildlife from the harbour a mile away. History lovers can journey back in time on a Woodland Tramway or Trolleybus service along a period street at East Anglia Transport Museum 10.5 miles away whilst keen swimmers can dive into Beccles Lido 14 miles away, a traditional, outdoor heated swimming pool situated nearby the River Wavene.

Lovely turn-key holiday home, generous amounts of space, lovely dining room and small, pretty courtyard garden, in a great location. Great get away for families.

The cottage is in a great location. The kitchen was well done and very well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs etc. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. Sadly the house is let down by low quality furniture in the living room. The garden was lovely and well looked after.

We all loved the house - the space, very comfortable beds, the restful decor, all the lovely paintings and prints of Southwold and its close proximity to the shops and sea. There was lots to do in the area nearby and Southwold has loads of nice boutiques, wonderful bakeries, and an amazing pie shop! Our three generation family especially enjoyed FRead moreramlingham Castle, the East Anglia Transport Museum, looking round medieval churches, Minsmere RSPB, Southwold pier and crabbing at the harbour. We would certainly go there again and would recommend it to others. Hide

Beautifully kept end of terrace. Parking was never a problem. The house is in such a perfect spot for everything in Southwold which was such a great town with something for everyone in our family. Beach so close too. Wonderful house and town. We'll be back...

Fantastic stay in Southwold despite typical English weather. Such a great town. The house is so comfortable and in a perfect spot to walk into town and explore. We loved all the cafes and Lord Nelson pub and pizza. Walberswick also great.
