Offering a restorative stay in the East Anglian countryside, just half a mile from the relaxing village of Debenham, this holiday home presents six guests with the opportunity to tour the local countryside, explore the sights via waymarked pathways and visit AONB beaches just a short drive away. After days filled with adventure and intrigue, you’ll always look forward to coming home and putting your feet up here, whether it’s by the fire in winter months or out in the garden when the sun shines.
Amble up the country road to reach this remote, detached property. Apart from one mezzanine bedroom situated over the lounge, the property is entirely step-free with communal spaces and two bedrooms situated on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs and another beside the double bedroom upstairs. The lounge/kitchen/diner is an extremely attractive space with mid-century furnishings, a double-height ceiling and bi-fold doors that flood the room with natural light. Make full use of this feature throughout summer stays, folding open the French doors to create an inside-outside living experience. The patio outside is accompanied by an enclosed lawn space and a fire pit that also acts as a BBQ.
Wander the short 0.5-mile distance into Debenham to find shops, pubs and cafes, a great place to embark on any number of walks from, circling back for a treat before heading home. Chose a day to take a drive to Eye, just 7 miles away. This traditional Suffolk town is a lovely place to explore with castle ruins and fascinating architecture. A short trip in the car will also lead you to the Suffolk Coast AONB (20 miles) with its delectable beaches, including the ever-popular seaside destinations of Aldeburgh (23 miles) and Southwold (28 miles).
