What a wonderful place to stay. The house is perfect, spacious and yet so cosy. Comfortable sitting room with a light, bright and modern kitchen diner. Three bedrooms with a large bathroom upstairs. The bath is the perfect size for a relaxing bubble bath. Downstairs is a modern shower room too. The kitchen has new oven and hob as well as Read morea mini dishwasher, there is a washing machine in a little laundry room. There is a kettle and toaster but no microwave. I liked the DAB radio. I like having music while I'm in the kitchen. The sofas are comfortable and there is plenty of room for five people. We don't really watch TV but there is a large flat screen. There are books of every possible interest from novels to war history! There are plenty of games and activities should the weather be grim. The garden is amazing. It wasn't the right time of year but I imagine it's stunning in the summer, so much space, beautifully planted with plenty of space to sit out. The owners live next door and were kind and happy to help. I felt very welcome. The area is stunning with walks from the doorstep. The owners have thoughtfully left examples to get you started. If you wants shops and pubs and night life, it's not for you but if you want a perfect cottage in a quiet place with views and walks plenty of fresh air you will find this is just the place. We can't wait to go back again in the spring Hide

Friendly and helpful hosts who provided every comfort and good supporting information. A warm cosy cottage in a rural location but with interesting restaurants and pubs within a short drive (or a nice walk for those fitter than me). Planning a return with family to make use of the other two rooms.

We loved our stay here. Warm welcome, well equipped, cosy and comfortable and our hosts could not have been kinder. We especially enjoyed the road free walk to the shore, where there was birdwatching for grownups, paddling for dogs and beachcombing for little people. We were sorry to leave!

The cottage was a perfect home away from home. Friendly hosts and welcome basket. The cottage had everything we needed, including including safe storage for our bikes, parking for 2 cars and WiFi (the area's mobile signal is not good!). There was plenty of scope for inside and al fresco dining, including the use of a charcoal BBQ and picnic tableRead mores. There were games, books (including children's toys) and a good TV with streaming. We enjoyed exploring locally on foot or by bike or further afield by foot ferry to Harwich, or nearer Ipswich, where Jimmy's Farm was a great day out. The nearest food shop and good butcher's was in Holbrook less than 10 minutes drive. A very peaceful location and lovely cottage. Hide
