Overall we were really impressed with the house. It's so nice to visit somewhere that has a lot of the extra bits- tea/coffee/sugar, a really well stocked kitchen of utensils. Loads of stuff for kids- games, Blackout blind. A lovely house, in a great location. The two pubs in the village were great, with a lovely walk past the church. The co-op wasRead more really convenient. Hide

House was very nice, ideal for 4 adults. Bottle of Prosecco, mince pies and milk in fridge a nice touch. Nice smart television with Netflix and Amazon provided. 4 night stay with my mother and a couple of family friends. The property is excellent - modern, clean, well equipped and in a peaceful location - not quite where it shows on the location map but a few minutes walk away (uphill on the way back from the village and with no pavement for part of the way). Not much space to move around in bedroom 2 (twRead morein/double) - fine for myself (made up as a double) but might be a bit tight for 2 adults for more than a few days. Nice garden with good quality patio furniture which gets the afternoon sun, but table and chairs end up in the shade in the evening - one suggestion would be to extend the patio along the fence on the east side so that the furniture could be moved around to make the most of the evening sun. Property was excellent. Feedback would be a) a sign next to bin re recycling etc and an extra recycling bin would be useful ( need to know quickly what to do with empty tins etc without all guests having treat through the instructions especially for a short stay b) a notice re boosting hot water for shower.. with 5 adults some of our showers were tRead moreepid but the cleaner advised that we could have had extra hot water . The bed in the main bedroom needs a new mattress and the bed in the 3rd bedroom tilts sideways. Otherwise the property was very well equipped, beautifully clean and warm and comfortable.

Had a comfortable stay overall. However the kettle was horrible, full of lime scale and unusable, also disappointed that there was no dryer.
