The cottage is close to Halesworth high street for shops, pubs, takeaway restaurants and restaurants. There are great dog walking areas nearby and the Millenium Park is not far.

Lovely cottage. Nice and clean. Lovely garden with views to fields. Nice bonus having milk, biscuits, tea and coffee provided. Excellent for exploring Suffolk easily. One of best cottages we have stayed in. Also a larger TV would be beneficial for distance away from sofa. However lovely cottage and highly recommend.

Highly recommended. The property was immaculately clean, very well equipped, and very comfortable. It was lovely to find tea, coffee, biscuits and milk available on arrival. Extremely well located too, very peaceful spot yet just a few minutes' walk from the town centre. Steps to front door, but this is clearly mentioned in the publicity.

The cottage was perfect, one of the nicest ones that we have ever stayed in. It was spotless and had everything that we needed, the hubby managed to make several dinners and all of the necessary equipment was there, we couldn't have anything to complain about. The only issue was that our dog 'Jimmy' was a Houdini and manage to escape somehow intRead moreo to the neighbours (Virginia) garden. This would not have been a problem, however, she was looking after a friends dog. Jimmy is not always good with other dogs and Jimmy had an altercation. Luckily neither dog was hurt and Jimmy had forgotten all about it after a few minutes, we're just not sure how he managed to escape. Of course after this episode he was closely watched and had no new adventures. Virginia was lovely to talk to and helped make our holiday perfect. The location was also spot on, we loved 'The real tap room' (especially on a rainy afternoon) and 'The Black Dog Deli'. Everybody was so friendly. We tend not to revisit places as we like to try something new, however, should we need a quiet little retreat with being able to breathe and have a much needed break from work we will definitely return. If you are looking for a holiday to blow away the cobwebs this is the one, despite the odd down pour we were fortunate with the weather and we explored the local beaches, they were great to visit for a walk (dogs are not allowed on most beaches between April and September), we have no faults. Thanks to the owners for a beautiful cottage to stay in during our much needed holiday. Hide

The cottage was excellent, perfectly located for Halesworth Town Centre, literally 2 minutes walk away. The cottage was very quiet. We made lots of use of the garden in the excellent weather. The cottage was a perfect size for 3 Adults but it may be a little cosy for 4. We hope to return in the future with my Dad's new dog. This is a lovely cottage in a very quiet location but nonetheless very close to town and only about ten minutes walk from the railway station. It is dog friendly, with bowls provided. It had everything I needed, and weather permitting the small private enclosed garden is perfect for sitting out or enjoying an outside meal. I hope to return.

Honeysuckle Cottage provides excellent accommodation. The lounge/dining room is very comfortable and homely. It opens out onto a secure garden equipped with a picnic-type table (more equipment in the shed should it be needed) . The kitchen is clean and well equipped, utensils and cutlery are of a high standard. Upstairs the bathroom seemed newly Read morerefurbished and the bedrooms are good with plenty of cupboard space, for cases etc in the main room. The cottage is in a quiet area overlooking a green. Parking, for really only one car is a little tight. We were able to find alternative parking for my daughters car. Halesworth centre is just down the road. There is a very pleasant pedestrianised area with independent shops. There are several walks around the area and leaflets in the house describing these.
