Boasting an array of social spaces inside including the sitting room and snug, as well as outside in the garden, there’s something sure to appeal to all guests on a stay here. Take a day trip to Dunwich and you’ll get the chance to explore the beach, heaths and forest which are all within a few miles of each other and offer a patchwork of interesting pathways to walk with plenty of idyllic spots to stop off and tuck into a picnic.

Gather together in the sitting room and sprawl out on one of the two sumptuous sofas to watch a film. At the centre of the room is a beautiful, exposed brick fireplace housing an open fire which creates a warm and welcoming ambience during the colder months of the year. The playroom is a great space for children, with a TV, toys, a sofa and plenty of floor space. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find the four bedrooms, including the master bedroom featuring a king-size bed with pastel decor throughout mimicking the beautiful colour palette of the sea. In addition, there is a king-size bed in a separate room, as well as two charming single bedrooms which are ideal for younger guests. The family bathroom completes the property with a blissful bathtub offering ultimate relaxation at the end of the day. Outside, the garden is enclosed with a lovely, large lawn featuring a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Walberswick itself has plenty on offer, from tea rooms serving up tasty treats to gorgeous Georgian architecture seen on walks around this hidden gem of a village and, of course, it’s got its very own beach! During the summer months, you can take the foot ferry across the waters to the iconic seaside destination of Southwold (2 miles) where colourful beach huts line the shore. The lighthouse here leads you on your way to a fantastic coast path walking trail as well as offering you the opportunity to try your hand at crabbing. A lovely cottage very spacious and modern. Well equipped . Everything you may need for a family seaside holiday. Such a shame the lovely garden was ruined by the drought though we could always smell the lavender in the evening.

An excellent holiday cottage. It is spacious, very well equipped and the supply of hot water seems endless. It is a bit far from the shops and the beach but on the other hand apart from some traffic noise at the weekend it is very peaceful.l

Perfect location with walks including into Southwold practically from the door step. Cottage was warm and open fire was most welcome as was the wood supply. Cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. This was our second visit and we will certainly be back.

Our 4th stay at Pembroke Cottage, we love the location, the house is always spotless and is very well equipped especially the kitchen. There have been a few upgrades since our last visit which shows the owners care about the property. Highly recommend staying here.

A super place to stay, in a quiet and very picturesque village. The Coop and deli are just a few minutes walk away, the lovely and easily accessed beach a little further, about 10 minutes. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout in clean, light shades and quality furnishings. It's also wonderfully spacious, with plenty of space to store thRead moree large amount of paraphernalia that a holiday by the sea always seems to need! Plus, we had our 8 month old grandson with us so even more paraphernalia needed! The kitchen is very clean and well equipped, again with good quality items, and we didn't find anything lacking. The bedrooms are spacious, the showers efficient and there was no shortage of hot water. The garden is a nice space, well maintained. Despite the rather rainy weather we all enjoyed the holiday, and Pembroke Cottage was a lovely and very comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. Hide

Beautiful place in a perfect location. We had everything we needed for our stay and it was particularly well set up for children and families with the playroom. It was a cosy home from home. The location was also perfect for walking to the beach and into the village.
