Enjoying a peaceful location in the heart of the idyllic village of Walberswick, this cheerful cottage is a fantastic retreat for families, friends and couples exploring a tranquil part of the Suffolk countryside. Providing sweet, colourful accommodation for up to five guests, the property makes a great base for eager walkers, cyclists, beach lovers and nature spotters discovering the region’s beautiful coast and quaint harbours. Featuring stone tiling, a delightful garden, a welcoming wood burner and a balcony looking out towards the sea, this is a fantastic spot for a relaxing rural break in glorious surroundings. The ground floor also has a family bathroom and a separate wet room, along with two colourful, relaxing bedrooms: one double and a twin. Upstairs there’s a single bedroom with a low sloping ceiling, and a seating area opening out onto a balcony with far-reaching sea views. Fantastic location and we only used the car once in the week as everything we needed was in the village or the small ferry ride away in Southwold. The property is priced for its location. It was home from home, and the green roof and vine on the south aspect meant we were cool for the hottest week the UK has ever seen. Access to the beach was direcRead moretly behind the house.
