Walberswick has some friendly pubs and restaurants as well as a pretty beach and is just across the River Blyth from the popular seaside town of Southwold. Ideally reached via a short ferry trip, Southwold (1.5 miles) has a lovely beach, a lighthouse and model boat pond, some wonderful boutique shops and galleries, as well as a vintage cinema and the popular Southwold Maize Maze. Also nearby are RSPB Minsmere (8.5 miles) and Henstead Exotic Gardens (11 miles).
