The charming market town of Framlingham lies 2.8 miles away where days can be spent wandering through the streets in search of the finest cafes, or visiting the historic English Heritage Site of Framlingham Castle.

You’ll feel immediately at home stepping into the living room with its plush sofa, exposed brick fireplace and beautiful beams lining the ceiling. Next door is the country-style kitchen full of quaint features including a traditional wood burner set into an alcove. Upstairs, on the first floor, is the lovingly decorated master bedroom, boasting a king-size bed and ornate windows, as well as the bathroom. The bathroom includes a comfortable bathtub and a relaxing rainfall shower for refreshing. Up the second staircase you’ll find the final bedroom, with a single bed and a desk. The garden is a lovely private courtyard area with seating for four, a BBQ and a small stretch of lawn.

Ideally situated to enjoy both the coast and the countryside, within just 15 miles you can be on the sandy beach of Southwold, strolling along the promenade and eating tasty ice creams with gorgeous views of the seaside. A lovely restful stay in a beautifully presented and appointed cottage. What a pity we couldn't take it all home with us!

Perry Acres Cottage is delightful. It ticks all the boxes; spotlessly clean, well equipped, tastefully restored and furnished and extremely comfortable. The garden is a sun trap and we were able to eat outside sometimes during our stay. It is cosy and homely without the addition of a multitude of knick knacks that some property owners prefer. Read more We didnt venture up to the single second floor room, but the main bedroom is airy and light, with a very comfortable bed. I found I had to take extra care on the old wooden stairs, but there are very sturdy handrails on both sides. The upside of this was that my partner made the morning tea every day as he didnt trust me to carry mugs upstairs. We loved being able to walk in the quiet countryside surrounding the cottage. It was also perfectly situated for visiting the many attractions and coastal towns of Suffolk. Sadly it wasnt ccld enough to use the gorgeous log burner, but that must be a wonderful addition on a chilly evening. We would definitely stay again and certainly recommend to friends and family. What a wonderful cottage .Small , but perfect . The property was so clean , and you could feel the love and thought that has gone into Perry Acres . The stairs are steep and some of the floorboards are wonky , but for us , this added to the charm . Thus , if you have any mobility issues , then perhaps this isnt the cottage for you . However , thereRead more are handrails . My only complaint is that we booked for 3 nights , wish we had stayed for longer. We shall defo be returning . Hide
