Chapel Cottage is a fabulous cottage, located a very short walk from the lovely village center with all its good cafs and independent shops. Great pet shop for all doggy needs too. Has everything you need plus CoOp and petrol a few mins walk. Very good Fish and Chip shop close by. Lovely to see and hear the church (bells only rang during the day) from the garden, although small ish was perfect with tables and chairs getting morning and evening sun. This is a comfortable cottage. It is located in a quiet small town close to local amenities, the coast and other places of interest. Reasonably priced too. Would certainly return.

Disappointed. Not recommended for anyone over 5ft. 8in unless with scrumcap. Kitchen needs upgrading and sofas worn out. Paint comes off a wicker chair. Drinking water only available in kitchen. Good position for town, which is great. Not easy to drive to or out again unless small car or park on main road 60m away. It's a lovely, cosy cottage in the heart of Halesworth. Literally a 2m35s door to door walk along Swan Lane to the Co-op (I timed it!). Good coffee shops & pubs. Easy drives to Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. We had our dog with us, and had some lovely, off the lead, local walks. We picked a particularly cold, windy week so the exceRead morellent heating system came in handy. On our one good day, the Saturday we arrived,we enjoyed the evening sun in the lovely garden. We plan to return. Hide

It was our second visit to Chapel Cottage - and hope it won't be the last. Good location, delightful cottage and garden. We enjoyed sitting in the garden room and hearing the church bells. No complaints.

Really cosy cottage ideal for a couple, and with a second bedroom too. Very nice decor, and well provided for, we didn't need to buy everyday items in our 5 day stay. The town is full of history too, and has a good selection of shops.

We really loved the cottage. It was so nicely maintained (including the garden which we loved). The location was absolutely ideal, central to Halesworth and yet tucked away in a quiet corner. It is a very special place.

I am a non-driving solo traveller, with my dog, and I travel to the area to visit, and be visited by, friends and family. The location is excellent for the town centre and about 15 - 20 minutes from the station. Good dog-walking nearby in the Millennium park.
